I'm interested in the snowmobiles. I have family who has 7 of them. I would also like to get some history on them. If they are still being built anymore. If you could please help me out on the history of these snowmobiles. I would really appreciate it. They are an awesome machine.

Enjoyed Hal's article about the Brut LC 44 in the September issue. What a sled and way ahead of it's time. Thanks to the estate of the late Dan Hill of Michigan, the Snowmobile Hall of Fame Museum in St. Germain, WI has Dan's beautiful original 1973 Brutt LC 44. This beauty still starts on the first pull. It has 189 original miles on it. Dan's estate donated this great piece of sled history several years ago along with his custom made "pit box golf cart" which turns eyes when visitors see it. Dan was a real inovator. It has built in generator, cooling box, radiator for water cooling of his drag sleds, four speaker stereo system , huge tool chest and roll bar with lights and flasher. This piece of racing history can be seen on our museum page of the web site at www.snowmobilehalloffame.com. Thanks for the vintage stories......we love them !
