Had a Dragon Given by polaris to replace a Lemon FST. This 07 700 dragon had the plug issues, no belt problems. dealer put in NGK plugs and has been fine. Eats lots of Oil but I was willing to live with that. went to go riding last Friday and on start up it sounded like it had fouled a plug again. upon inspection right cylinder plug was covered with fine aluminum. Took it to the dealer and maechanic say's the motor is WORE OUT!! 4600 miles, no reason why, no explanation, NO WARRANTY. What is Polaris Doing the past years. The only machine's I have had no problems with are my Wifes 05 600 edge Touring and my Old 98 700 XC. This is Bullsh_t. Will have to fix it cause dealer said he would only give me $4900 on trade for new 800 sp. Will NEVER again buy another, gotta try another Brand.

I bought my 2007 Dragon 700 in March of 07' paid $9000 for it and ran 66 miles before we were out of snow in NE Ohio. Went through 4 sets of plugs in that time and then I got a recall notice from Polaris. Took it back to dealer and they did a re-flash on ECU with fuel remapping as well as change out thermostat and plugs. Put about 450 miles with no issues and then went to MI for the OSSA ride in and after a 4 hour trip to the Macinack bridge we ate lunch and headed back to Grayling (94 mile trip) then about 4 mile in to the return trip the sled died and the not so pleasent smell of electrical burning. All in all I got the sled back home and to the dealer and the voltage regulator spiked and fried the ECU. I had about 602 miles on it and it is all stock. Polaris gave me the finger and said they will not cover it. I could see if I had done tons of modifications but come on, it's all stock and this is a poor way to work with a consumer of your product. This is the last Polaris I will buy, Yamaha will be my next.

I've had an 07 dragon for over a year now and it's a great sled. i was just wondering if my motor should be reving higher then 7850 rpm when i have it flat out? i've had a 500 liberty motor before and it rev around 8250 rpm. Is this all this motor has, or is somethig wrong?
