Dear Ralph:
Do you know or can you find out if the new HPV Secondary Clutch on the 2006 Ski-Doo Renegade will fit on my 2005 Renegade?

As far as we know, it’ll fit right on the jackshaft as the spline hubs are basically the same. Pay attention to the offset (alignment) and the calibration; unless we get some cross-reference data comparing the new clutch to previous set-ups, I’d start with the same set-up as found on the same engine size and track length of the 2006, including gearing. This would require you to use the same spring, ramps and pin mass in the primary as the 2006, and same gearing (drivers should already be the same size) then the secondary should be close to being properly calibrated. Set the TRA clickers to allow the proper operating RPM for your particular engine and go from there.
