2009 Yamaha FX Nytro

For 2009 you have three choices; the FX Nytro, the rough-trail FX Nytro RTX and the spring-only FX Nytro RTX SE. All versions get a whole new front suspension, aimed at making it more consumer friendly, instead of a consumer race sled. The goal was to improve the predictability and stability, so ten changes were made including new a-arms, tie rods, spindles, ski rubber and a host of geometric changes to match. The RTX adds a far more aggressive suspension calibration, where the base FX Nytro is the more tame of the three. Base and RTX models also get a taller windshield. These are aggressive sleds for aggressive riders; sit-down trail types should look elsewhere.
