Sometimes as a brand new sled gets to final production there are detail changes to the specifications and exact configuration of the machine. This is going to be the case with the new 2015 Summit T3 package.

Nothing major, but there are going to be a couple of differences from the sleds we tested this past Spring. During testing it was discovered that the new lightweight muffler did not meet SCCC noise level standards in all conditions, so this feature will not be standard on the production sleds. Ski-Doo takes great pride in their machines meeting ALL applicable sound standards, and when the package did not pass the requirements in every situation the decision was made to delay implementation of this feature.

The next item is a panel color change, as one of the bright color panels was not meeting Ski-Doo quality standards so the color has been changed to gray. We do know that bright colors are often difficult to color match and maintain UV stability, so this could be the case here, but Ski-Doo has indicated the panel color as originally intended was not meeting their quality control testing and thus will be changed so it does meet their quality standards.
