2016 Yamaha SR Viper S-TX DX 137”
Yamaha continues to expand their offering of SR Viper models, but this new one could be the best one yet. The S-TX designation meant it had a 141” air shock skid last year, but for 2016 this sled gets fitted with a 137” torsion-spring set-up and – wait for it – a 1.6” lug Cobra track! SnowTech test riders know and love this track for true crossover conditions, providing an excellent balance between on-trail manners and off-trail capability, giving this sled unmatched versatility in the SR Viper series.
Aimed at the growing Adventure portion of the crossover segment, the S-TX DX 137” gets HPG coil spring front shocks for ride compliance, HPG center & rear shocks for bump capability and ride quality, with a tall windscreen, heated seat, goggle bag, 8-pocket modular bumper and semi-hard saddle bags all as standard issue items. There will be little you need to do other than gas and go for thousands of miles, on hardpacked trails or off into the fresh powder. If there was ever one sled that could truly do it all, this is as close as Yamaha has ever been.
