The industry standard for the ultimate in trail performance, the MXZ X-RS pairs the powerful, ultra-responsive 850 E-TEC or the 600R E-TEC engine (introduced in January 2018) with race-ready ergonomics, a forward steering post, reinforced running boards, Ergo-Step side panels, narrow seat, and suspension capabilities of the RAS 3 and rMotion suspension systems.

The centralized mass of the REV Gen4 platform paired with KYB Pro shocks make controlling the sled through bumps and moguls second nature. Instant power delivery from the E-TEC engine options gives riders fierce acceleration for holeshots and corner-to-corner performance.

Features such as the X-RS-exclusive forward steering position, open toe-holds and Forward Adjustable Riser lets riders customize their riding position for the most responsive handling sled in the roughest and tightest of trails. The beveled tunnel, narrow seat and flat, wide, reinforced running boards create a nimble, and precise sled that instills confidence for any rider in any trail terrain.

Available factory-installed Spring Buy options like pre-studded tracks, taller lug heights, quick-adjust suspension systems, and Pilot TS adjustable carbide skis give riders maximum flexibility when constructing their perfect ride.

It all starts with the REV Gen4 platform, designed to be the ultimate handling snowmobile. The trail version of the 4th generation REV platform is designed around aggressive trail riders with a narrow, compact design giving the rider more freedom to move and influence the sled. More centralized masses (especially side-to-side) make the vehicle ultra-responsive to rider input, delivering more fun per ride.

X-RS SUSPENSION
rMotion 129 rear suspension: THE standard for control, capability, comfort and adjustability. Supple ride in small bumps and added capability in large ones, thanks to separate spring and shock dynamics, and the most rising-rate motion ratio in the industry. The 129-inch length has superior traction, braking and bump filtration while still delivering the precise handling and cornering MXZ sleds are known for. Easy adjustments for shocks, springs and coupling blocks. The four-wheel rear axle on the MXZ X-RS version adds extra durability and cornering stability for the most demanding riders.

KYB Pro 40 EA piggyback racing rear shocks: Extreme capability, extreme durability shocks for control in the toughest conditions. Easy Adjust knob for compression damping adjustments without tools.

RAS 3 front suspension: State-of-the-art unequal length A-arm front suspension provides outstanding bump absorption and precise handling, even in harsh conditions. Plus 1” added suspension stroke compared to in-season models.

Rack steering system: Derived from the MXZx race sled, further increases front suspension precision and straight tracking in extreme bumps.

KYB Pro 36 R EA piggyback front shocks: Extreme capability, extreme durability shocks for control in the toughest conditions. New design is more efficient for higher performance; compression and rebound calibration ranges are optimized. Easy Adjust knobs for compression and rebound adjustments.

Ergo-Step side panels: Design offers natural progression to three positions for different cornering styles, including an extreme-forward position. No other sled lets you lean this far forward into the corners, for the ultimate in carving capability.

Open toe-holds: Enables rider to naturally pivot their outside foot outward in aggressive cornering. For more locked-in, secure feeling, alternative toe-hold accessories available to customize the fit for all styles.

RS running boards: Designed for aggressive stand-up riding, they are flatter and wider for an extended length. Thicker aluminum sheet (3 mm vs. 1.8 mm), plus front and rear reinforcements to withstand tough landings.

Forward Adjustable Riser: 4 in./10 cm of no-tool fore-aft adjustment to customize the riding position instantly. Forward for more ski pressure, pull it back for less steering effort.

Trail performance seat: Narrow design eases shifting from side-to-side and front-to-back. Wide and flat rear section adds comfort.

129” RipSaw track with 1.25” lug height: The ultimate in hardpack conditions, with excellent traction in all conditions.

UPDATED – pDrive primary clutch: Fast and friction-free dual rollers transfer torque in place of traditional sliding buttons on this clutch. Oversized rollers with needle bearings, wide based flyweights and a shaft-on-shaft design emphasize smooth operation and long life. Ultra-responsive shifting, impressive RPM consistency, lightweight and maintenance-free. Fixed sheave is finned to circulate more air – paired with the new CVT cover delivering better air

Multi-function analog/digital gauge with display: Smartly-styled analog speedometer and tachometer plus LCD digital information screen. Hand and thumb warmers have five settings, which are indicated on the cluster. Start-up screen indicates percentage of engine break-in remaining.

Rotax Electronic Reverse (RER): A simple push of a button reverses the sled – by reversing the direction of the engine. Adds nearly zero weight.

SPRING OPTIONS

Adjustment Package: Instant adjustability totally transforms the suspension and handling characteristics of the sled for riding style or conditions with unmatched ease. rMotion Quick Adjust System consists of running-board-mounted controls for rear suspension spring pre-load and rear shock compression damping that make fine-tuning fast and easy, even with gloves on. Hydraulic adjuster provides 40% more preload adjustment range than the standard rMotion (cam-adjust) suspension with infinite settings. With the Pilot TS skis, riders literally dial in the amount of ski bite for conditions and riding style. The knob adjacent to the spindle raises or lowers the carbide “blade” runner in 20 click increments for more or less steering response.

15 x 129 x 1.25” Ice Ripper XT track: A derivative of the RipSaw track with carbide studs embedded in track lugs for added grip in icy conditions.
