C-TEC4 Synthetic: One 4-Cycle Oil for all Arctic Cats

The addition of the 7000-Series C-TEC4 Yamaha 1049cc 4-stroke engine to the 2014 Arctic Cat model line brings with it a revised formula for their 4-cycle synthetic snowmobile oil.
Thus, Arctic Cat has a new synthetic engine oil that not only satisfies the requirements of the 1049cc Yamaha engine, but is also perfectly suited for all other Arctic Cat 4-stroke engines as well. C-TEC4 Synthetic Oil is engineered from synthetic base stocks for high lubricity and protection against wear. It features a premium additive package that helps prevent oxidation, deposits and piston ring sticking.
It is formulated and proven for use in all Arctic Cat 4-cycle snowmobiles, including turbo-charged engines (Z1 Turbos and T-660 Turbos). And it’s the only oil recommended by Arctic Cat for the new 7000-Series 1049cc three-cylinder engine. It is sold in quart (#6639-524 for $11.99) and gallon (#6639-525 for $39.99) bottles.
Arctic Cat also has new Synthetic Oil Change Kits for 2014; one for the 1100c Twin engines (#6639-528) and one for the 1049cc triple Yamaha engine (#6639-529). Each kit retails for $49.99 and contains one gallon of the new C-TEC4 synthetic oil, an oil filter, belly pan plugs, a disposable funnel and the appropriate gaskets/o-rings for each engine; everything you need to properly complete an oil and filter change.
