The new for 2018 Polaris 800 SKS 146” comes with a new (kind of) IGX 146 rear suspension. New in that it is a variation of the 144” IGX rear suspension that made its debut for 2017 in the Switchback Assault and Switchback 144” models.

IGX = Ideal Geometry Xover, optimized for the 146” track length of the SKS. Just like the Switchback Assault, the front half of suspension features longer front torque arm and revised, optimized geometry to control pitch. Front torque arm travel is greatly increased (43 percent greater) which reduces bottoming and drag off-trail. This suspension features tipped, reinforced and optimized rail beam design, helping the SKS to act shorter when used on packed trails. Wrapped around the IGX 146” is a versatile, yet aggressive 15” x 146” x 2.25” Series 5.2 track (replaces Peak).
