Hall of Fame event presents a star-studded group

St. Germain, WI………The 24th annual RIDE WITH THE CHAMPS by HotDawg Garage Heaters celebrity ride and fund raiser for the Hall of Fame is Thursday, February 22. A a star-studded group of Hall of Famers and celebrities will be with us for the prestigious event. The list of confirmed include Hall of Famer, Olav Aaen of Kenosha, WI, Mike Campbell of Eagle River, WI, Jon and Robert (2007 Inductee) Carlson of Charlotte, NC and Scottsdale, AZ, Bobby Donahue (1997 inductee) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Russ Ebert of Thief River Falls, MN, Doug (1996 Inductee) and Stan (1988 Inductee) Hayes of Crandon and Horicon, WI, Kirk Hibbert (2007 Inductee) , Thief River Falls, MN, Roger Janssen ((1988 Inductee) of Crookston, MN, Mark Maki (2007 Inductee) of Inver Grove Hts, MN, Blair Morgan, WSA Snowcross multiple Champion, Brian Nelson (2000 Inductee), Spicer, MN, Perry Schlueter (2001 Inductee),Dakota, IL, Roger Skime (1998 Inductee), Thief River Falls, MN John Wicht III (2003 Inductee) and these are only those confirmed as of Feb. 16.

Do not miss the trail ride of your life. Come join us for this great day ending with the Induction Banquet at the Eagle River Inn. Two ride groups will be for vintage sleds and some 25-30 are expected to be John Deere supporters as Robert Carlson , the man responsible for the Deere snowmobile will be inducted along with Mark Maki, Kirk Hibbert, and Dick Gokey. Of the vintage group, most will be riding their trusty John Deeres from the 1970’s.

The $100 registration fee covers breakfast, lunch and the induction banquet. The event kicks off at 7:30 am at the Eagle River Inn. Guides take the four rider groups on a day-long ride with a lucheon fish fry at Bosacki’s Boathouse in Minocqua. All rider groups visit the Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Germain on Hwy 70 W.

The World Power Sports National Snowcross tour begins in Eagle River on Friday, February 23 so it is a big snowmobile weekend for sure. Spots are still available for the Ride wWth The Champs but do not delay. Make your reservation today.
