Ski-Doo Cancels 2008 Mach Z (and others)

Ski-Doo has informed us they have cancelled several models from their 2008 offerings; models cancelled include the Mach Z, Mach Z LT, Legend Trail, Tundra V-800 & Tundra LT (V-800).
Sources indicate it was simply a matter of economics; that the number of dealer and consumer orders for these models simply didn’t justify their production for the 2008 model year. There just wasn’t enough demand to justify the build.
Also a likely factor in the decision was the current existing inventory of previous model year sleds.
Consumers who ordered one of these models during the spring promotional period will be given a $500 credit towards the purchase of another Ski-Doo model, along with a complimentary second year engine warranty and all of the Spring promotional benefits associated with their new model choice.
