Arctic Cat absolutely, completely and totally hit a home run for 2006 when they (smartly) decided to build a 136” sled out of the M-Series mountain chassis. The rider-forward ergos and uncanny handling coupled with the extra traction make it a well-balanced sled on or off trail. About all that was missing was push-button reverse. Guess what? Now it is standard!

This year the Crossfire is also offered in an 80 HP 500 (instead of an M-5) along with the 600 EFI II, the 700 punched-out to an 800, and the wicked fast and light (for its size) 1000.

The 800 and 1000 are also offered in Sno Pro calibrations, with Fox FLOAT Airshox up front, 2” Fox rear track shock and a more aggressive set-up all around. Don’t whine if they’re firm, they’re called Sno Pro for a good reason.
