2017 Polaris RMK & SKS Safety Recall

Polaris has issued a safety recall for their 2017 model year RMK, PRO-RMK & SKS snowmobiles. A weld on the steering post can separate, resulting in loss of steering control, posing a crash hazard.

Polaris has received 13 reports of a steering post weld separation. No injuries have
been reported. About 6,000 units are involved, in both 600 & 800 engine sizes, sold
in several track lengths and body colors.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact
Polaris to schedule a free repair. Polaris is contacting all known purchasers
