2005 and 2006 Polaris IQ chassis models with the Rider Select adjustable steering column have an extra U-joint in the steering column that requires lubrication. Polaris recommends lubrication of this steering post U-joint at 500 miles, then every 1000 miles, and before and after seasonal storage. Use of a rust-inhibiting lubricant, such as engine fogging oil, is suggested.
