Portable Winch Kits

For snowmobilers who use their sleds for a little – or a lot – of work, Ski-Doo is now offering a “little helper” for 2007 – the Warn Portable Winch Kit.

With 1,500 pounds of pulling power and 50 feet of wire rope, it’s perfect for pulling fellow sledders (or yourself) out of tough spots. Its free-spool capability means faster hook-ups, and it’s perfectly acceptable to save your back on such jobs.

The complete kit weighs just 15 pounds and includes two snowmobile-specific attachment straps, electrical wiring, remote control and a carrying bag that attaches to your rack. You will need a sled with a battery to power the winch, as the system does require 12 volts DC to operate.
