You should always ride your snowmobile at a speed that allows you to stop within the distance that you can see. Think about this one for a moment. Some of those corners you’re zipping around, if you hit the brakes where would you be able to stop? Can you see that point? If you AND the guy coming from the other direction BOTH are going too fast, at least you’ll safely go past each other if you’re BOTH on the proper (right) side of the trail!

Think about that one – how many times you’ve had somebody come out of nowhere and go past you so fast there was no way in #$%@ that you could have stopped! #1, slow down. #2, make damn sure you’re on the right side of the trail!
